Bama makes big offer to Dolphins' Saban

That is right TIGER fans, Alabama wants Saban to coach them back to the promise land. Of course Saban has said the he is 'committed to doing my job well here.' And that being the head coach of the Miami Dolphins is 'my job. That's what I've done all day today, and that's what I'll continue to do.' But we have heard that kind of stuff before.

Personally, I would like to see Saban back in the SEC. How much fun would it be have 4 former National Championship coaches going against each other year after year? It would be football civil war.

Sports Board OKs ticket plan:

"Under the plan, season ticket holders will pay from $100 to $500 per seat in Tradition Fund fees for the right to purchase their season tickets, depending on seat location. That's up from $85 to $400 per seat last season.

The face value of season tickets is also going up. LSU will continue to charge $36 for seven home games but $45 for one premium home game, which will likely be the Nov. 11 Alabama game.

With eight home games instead of seven plus the premium game charge, the cost of an LSU season ticket will now go from $252 last year to $297 this season."
2006 LSU Football Schedule:

Sept. 2 UL-Lafayette Baton Rouge
Sept. 9 Arizona Baton Rouge
Sept. 16 at Auburn Auburn, Ala.
Sept. 23 Tulane Baton Rouge
Sept. 30 Miss. State Baton Rouge

What a way to end the year!! With the heartache that started the year of 2005 all seemed hopeless. There we were, no coach, no bowl victory and no hope. But after starting the season with a hurricane, my beloved LSU tigers ended the year with a hurricane. Only this time, no hail mary was needed.

LSU, like the wonderful state it represents, persevered and beat back a mighty hurricane.
