What a way to end the year!! With the heartache that started the year of 2005 all seemed hopeless. There we were, no coach, no bowl victory and no hope. But after starting the season with a hurricane, my beloved LSU tigers ended the year with a hurricane. Only this time, no hail mary was needed.

LSU, like the wonderful state it represents, persevered and beat back a mighty hurricane.
